Laser-Cut Business Cards

Q: What types of business cards do you sell?

A: We offer a variety of business cards to help differentiate yourself or your business in three main categories: Wood Business Cards, Metal Business Cards & Paper Business Cards. Each type of card has its own unique properties and effects when we laser-etch or cut. Depending on your frequency of use, client or event we can help create something unique that will make an impression.

Wooden iPhone Cases & Wraps

Q: What types of phone cases do you sell?

A: Our iPhone, iPad & Android device cases come in two main types, removable cases and adhesive wraps / skins / covers. Our removable cases are built around various baltic birch frames and come in 3 styles: Lumberjack, Flapjack & Slim.

Our adhesive cases / wraps come in four styles: Classic, Smooth, Stealth & Sleek; and offer different looks and curves. Both types of products protect surprisingly well from drops, bumps, & scrapes. We offer a number of materials to match your style including Bamboo, Mahogany, Maple, Oak, Teak, Walnut, Wenge & Zebrawood. Custom engraving is available as well as a variety of unique laser-etched styles.

Laser-Cut Invitations

Q: How do I get a custom invitation from you?

A: Depending on where you are in the process we can help make your dream invitations a reality. If you have any existing artwork we create digital proofs and run samples prior to production. If you're starting from scratch we can work with you through artwork revisions until we find something you truly love. If you see something we've already done that you like we can customize for your event. We enjoy working with our customers to create something that is as special as your reason for celebrating.

Portfolios, Albums & Lookbooks

Q: How do I get a custom book from you?

A: We offer a variety of book types, materials, and linings to meet your needs. We offer templates of each book on the product page as well as here. You can upload your artwork on its own and we can send a digital proof or you can place your artwork exactly where you want and we'll use your file for production.

Q: What size books do you offer?

We offer three types of spacing for our books depending on how you plan on binding your page: Page Inserts, Direct-Fit & True-View. Page inserts accommodate plastic page inserts from Itoya or Prat. Direct-FIt accommodates the same size page with a small margin. True-View accommodates same size pages with an additional 1" margin for binding which can be added to the pages themselves or via adhesive binding strips. Custom sizes are available.

Q: What book styles do you offer?

We offer our Classic Style, Living Hinge, Piano Hinge and Tri-Fold portfolios, albums & lookbooks in Wood, Metal & Acrylic.

Retail Signage

Q: How do I get a custom sign from you?

A: We offer a variety of signs from large to small in wood, metal & acrylic. Depending on your size & needs we can build everything in-house or work with our vendors to create exactly what you're looking for. We'll work with you every step of the way to make sure your artwork, materials and finish are perfect for your home or business.

3D Puzzles

Q: How do put these together? Do they need glue?

A: Our 3D puzzles are designed to press fit together to make a unique model. If pieces aren't fitting together they may need to be flipped around in order to slot in correctly. We supply images from multiple angles on our website of the completed model to use as a guide. We also offer free replacement parts if anything is broken or missing.

CNC Products

Q: Can I customize the CNC products material / size?

A: We can definitely help customers with special requests. We can tailor each product to your specific needs.

Laser-Cut & Engraved Awards

Q: What types of awards do you offer?

A: All the awards we make are custom for your event. We can create awards or use your design in wood, metal, paper, & acrylic plastic. We work with you to make anything from simple certificates to integrated sculptures that are perfect for your event.

Custom Wood Maps

Q: How do I get a custom map for my preferred location?

A: We start by taking a look at your location request to give you some options for topographic maps, map area and elevation height. Once we know what type of map we're making we'll create a digital proof to show how you can expect the final product to look. Once the proofs look good and material has been determined we get your file to production on the CNC. The CNC routs your map with precision so we can laser-etch with topographic and additional information to create a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake.

How the Process Works

Q: How do I get custom products from you?

A: Regardless of where you are in the process we can help you take your project to completion. Our website can help guide you through the process to upload and supply your artwork and reference photos. You can also email to info@studio-eq.com with questions.

Once we have your artwork we get it ready for production and confirm any questions via digital proof. As soon as everything looks good with the artwork we run a sample and send a photo prior to production to make sure we're making exactly what you want. From there we get your job to production which can take 1-10 business days, depending on volume.

We ship daily and can typically work with you on tight deadlines. Don't hesitate to get in touch with questions to get the process started!

Installation Guides

Q: How do I install my iPhone wrap or case?

A: We have a couple ways to assist in putting your wrap on your phone. PDF guides are available here for the Classic, Sleek, Smooth & Stealth wrap styles. Video How-to guides are also available on our YouTube channel here.

Product Templates

Q: Where can I find product templates?

A: Blanks and basic templates can be found on each product page next to the details and reviews towards the bottom of the page. A full list of templates is also available here.

Turnaround Time

Q: How long will it take to get my order?

A: Depending on the type of product and volume of your order, production time can range from same day to ~10 business days or more. Printed and metal business cards require additional time for material sourcing. Invitations can take 3-5 days once the design is approved. Portfolio books can be finished in 1-3 days depending on material selection. iPhone cases are available same day.

Custom Jobs

Q: Do you work on custom jobs or unique projects?

A: We do! Most of our work is custom and we have had many unique requests throughout the years. Whether you've got an artwork file, photo or napkin sketch we can help bring your idea to life.

Graphic Design & Artwork Revisions

Q: Can you help setup my card? How much does it cost?

A: We never charge setup fees for preparing your artwork for our systems. Never. We also offer basic graphic design as part of the purchase or quick tweaks for $5. If advanced graphic design is necessary we charge a low hourly fee of $25 which takes care of most artwork needs. We provide digital proofs and allow customers the opportunity for multiple revisions as needed. We can assist with your artwork whether it is print ready or needs some help.

Returns & Exchanges

Q: Can I Return or Exchange My Order?

A: Depending on your order we are happy to offer returns and exchanges on unused products we can resell. Custom products are returned or exchanged on a case by case basis. Please don't hesitate to contact us at 310 305 1734 or info@studio-eq.com if you have any problems with your order.
